Most of you probably already know that Google uses almost 200 ranking factors in their algorithm. Wondering what are the most important ranking factors for high-ranking Google search results? To give you an idea, here is the experts’ top three list:
This was said by Andrey Lipattsev,a search Quality senior strategist at Google, during Q&A with Google via Web Promo with a bunch of wicked smart SEOs. Ammon Johns asked the question:
“Would it be beneficial for us to know what the first two are (first to ranking signals are).would webmasters build better sites…”
Andrey Lipattsev said:
“I can tell you what they are. It is content and links pointing to your site.”
Ammon said, “In that order or the other order?” Andrey replied,”There is no order”
Links, content, and Rankbrain themselves each of them is made up of many sub-factors. But these are the overall top three, officially confirmed by Google itself.
As you know, good quality, relevant CONTENT is more important than ever. Shift your focus from keywords rich content to trying to understand the user’s object and reflect it in logically structure, high-quality products. Content including word count and Flesch readability is one of the key ranking factors.
It has not been possible to identify exactly what sort of links Google weights in its ranking factors. However, the importance of Inbound, as well as Outbound for ranking better in Google is set to continue.
RankBrain is an artificial intelligence (AI) program developed by Google used to help to process and evaluate Google Search queries and provide more relevant results to users. It uses artificial intelligence to embed vast amount of written language into mathematical entities, called vectors that can understand by a computer.
